BALURAN NATIONAL PARK

The unique Baluran National Park is unlike anywhere else on Java. This is a dry country-side of open forests and scrub land, bordered at the coast by marshes, swampy groves and white beaches. The park is rich in wildlife such as deer, monkey, wild pigs and the extremely rare leopard. Go on safari here and see the thousands of exotic birds that call this place home. Despite the impact of illegal trapping for the caged bird trade, it’s still common to see green peafowl, red and green jungle fowl, and bee eaters. A land-rover or jeep is the best vehicle to use across these rugged grassy plains. Here, the wild ox, deer and birds can be photographed in their natural habitat.

We will pick up you in hotel at 07.00 am. The travelling is about 2 hours from Banyuwangi.  Along side we will see some beautiful places. Watu dodol beach first. This place is very precious. The combinations of hill, forest and beach make the beautiful scenery. Its beauty is more completed by a giant stone with a plant stands up in the middle of highway to Surabaya. The romantic panorama provides a good place for jogging track, cross-country as well as enjoying the beauty of Bali strait in distance. Here you can see a Gandrung dancer statue which as icon of Banyuwangi and as a traditional dance of Banyuwangi. From here we can see Bali strait also.

After traveling for a few minutes, we arrived at the first post of Baluran National Park. Guide will buy entrance ticket here. Then we continue to Bekol. While traveling, don’t forget to prepare your camera, because occasionally wild animals will appear in front of you, such as : monkeys, deer, butterflies, peacocks, and a variety of birds. A few kilometers, we can see savanna feeding animals. The wide grassland is very beautiful view. Then, we arrived in Bekol. There are facilities here such as animal observation, research house, guest house, and the tower of view. We will climb the tower of view a few minutes, to see the animals being fed from a height. After that, we will go to Bama. It is the location of marine tourism, fishing locations, diving / snorkeling, and wildlife attraction. A lot of monkeys were joking with others here. It is very funny view. It’s not far from Bama there is a beautiful mangrove forest. We can enjoy this view. There is a small cottage which we can use to enjoy the scenery while taking a picture or maybe lunch here. Sometimes there is fisherman were fishing in the traditional way with a small boat. It’s also a unique view. After a few minutes we take a rest and you’re satisfied to take pictures, we will go back to the hotel.

ALAS PURWO NATIONAL PARK

Alas Purwo National Park is located approximately 90 kilometers south of downtown Banyuwangi. It’s a national park located in the district and sub district Tegaldlimo, Purwoharjo, Banyuwangi regency, East Java, Indonesia. The park is famous for its wild Banteng (Bos javanicus) and world-class surfing location at Grajagan Bay. Diversity of fauna in the area of Alas Purwo National Park generally can be divided into four classes of Mammals, Aves, Pisces, and Reptiles. Mammals recorded for 31 species, birds that have been identified consisting of 236 species of land birds and water birds, some of whom are migrant birds that have been identified are 39 types. 20 species of reptile have been identified.

Because the distance is quiet far from Banyuwangi, it will spend time about 3 hours for travelling. So we will pick you at 07.00 am in your hotel. For your comfortable trip, so we use a land-rover or jeep which has four wheel driving. We’ll pass some villages. After a few hours had passed, we arrived there about at about 10.00 am. Then we continue the journey through the forest.

The first place is Sadengan a grazing animals. It’s located 2 km from the entrance ticket. Here you can see some kind of animals, such as: bison, deer, elk, deer, wild boar and birds. We continue the trip 1 km more, we will arrive in second place is Trianggulasi. It is high seas with a white sand marine tourism activities and camping. After that we go to Pancur. In addition to the beautiful beach scenery, there are some caves (Goa) here. It is Goa Padepokan, Goa Mayangkoro, and Goa Istana. Many people around the world who come here just for meditate. Therefore, this region is known as a mystical place. The next destination is Ngagelan. But we will pass Pura Agung. It’s a Hindu temple to be a ceremonial place. After that, we arrived in Ngagelan. This is place of some species of turtles landing to lay eggs on the beach and turtle breeding activity. The beautiful view of beach with the white sand will make you’re be amazed. After you’re satisfied and tired to this trip, we will go back to the hotel.

This national park has a variety of objects and attractions of nature and cultural tourism (sea, sand, sun, forest, wild animal, sport and culture) that is located not so far away from each other.
